I Can Not Believe How Fast This Ten Week Course has Flown By!

Hello Class and Professor,

I am absolutely amazed on how fast this ten week course has flown right by us.  Although I am happy to move onto my new upcoming courses, I will definitely miss everyone in this class.

Some advice that I would give anyone while writing a scientific research paper would be to take your time, have several references, and always include the most important factual evidence that you found in your research within your paper.  A huge tip, is to make sure that you are using the correct APA format as well as citations, in order to give the original author credit for a quote or sentence that you may use in your paper.

I feel that many areas within my writing skills have improved tremendously.  After the professor editing my rough draft on "Adolescent Depression," she had given me a few pointers on not using subjective nouns, and how to do a correct header.  I am now more confident about my writing skills than I have ever been in my entire life.

My final thought: Things will be hard to understand, and some things will take time to get it just right, but in the end it is all worth it.

Thanks

Ohhhh The Relief!!!

Hello Class and Professor,

I have to admit that I am so excited to finally have this paper done and over with.  I love writing, and usually do pretty good on "writing projects/papers," however, I tend to get really nervous when I know it is being graded.

I am hoping to get at least an A- on my paper, simply because I feel I have done a great job, and spent a lot of time researching and choosing the material that I thought would be best to put into my paper.

Professor, you have been such a great help and role model to me.  You are one of the very few professor/instructor's that I have had who replies immediately back to me through email.  You give awesome comments and suggestions as well.  I really enjoyed having you this term.

I wish everyone the best of luck on their final paper's grade, future careers, and future time here with Kaplan University.

Best of luck!

My Blog After This Course!

Hello Class and Professor,

I am unsure as to whether or not I will continue writing in my blog after this course is completed.  I have noticed in the beginning that I did have a few comments to my posts, but after about the fourth week, I have not had many responses or comments.

As Far as any issues regarding the process of blogging, I have had no problems at all.  It has actually given me a place to speak my thoughts.  I have enjoyed being able to have the option to write about basically anything we want to discuss.

The only thing that I have noticed is that in our class discussion board, I am not getting many responses.  I do not know if this is because I am not posting interesting information, or if no one is reading them, or I am simply being overlooked.

Thanks

Peer Reviews

Peer Reviews

I have not really had many comments on my papers when it comes to needing peer reviews.  This is the third class that I have had to post my paper on the discussion board for peer review, but not many people have responded, so I am really not sure if I like it or not.  Either way, I think it is good to take in all of the criticism and/or comments possible, rather it be from the teacher or other students.

I have found many interesting facts about "depression" when researching information for my paper.  I can't believe how many people have or do experience depression and anxiety.  I personally feel that there is people out there with this illness who are in denial about it and are probably not being treated correctly for it.

Thanks
